Hells Gate State Park

Hells Gate State Park is considered the gateway to Hells Canyon, the deepest river gorge in America and "Lewis and Clark country". Located south of Moscow, the park is a popular fishing, boating, jet-skiing and waterskiing destination on the Snake River. Boating allows for some of the best views of the gorge. Jet boat trips and float trips are also available.

Bring along your hiking boots for a nice trek along one of the park's trails and be on the lookout for the Native American petroglyphs along the way. Visit the Lewis and Clark Discovery Center and view the educational displays and informative movie, to learn more about the area's history.
